I’m back on (this) shore after flying CROSS COUNTRY and resuming CROSS COUNTRY skiing. Enjoyed this puzzle!

Ashore. I always get nervous when so many people get it quickly and it doesn't seem obvious to me. I've finally learned that means I'm overthinking it and I should just stare at the puzzle until I see it.

You get nervous? I get angry and frustrated and filled with self-doubt and self-loathing and jealousy...but not nervous.

I'm staring at and highlighting the same things over and over to no avail...

Well that was a long swim, but I’m ashore. Tough grid and challenging meta (for me, anyway). But, as others have said, when you see it, you see it! Thirsty, but a proper drink will have to wait until this evening. Water for now.

Rabbit holes galore!
But then it jumped out at me.
I'm safely ashore.

I’ll have a drink with lots of fruity garnish, please Bob.

I was with Isaac at the bar last night until:
The clock on the wall
Said "Last Call"
For alcohol.

Not doing much better with my morning coffee......

I love that song! "Yeah, you funny too" is part of our lingo.
If any Muggles want a Group Solve on this one later today, I will be happy to moderate. Let me know!
Good luck, fellow Muggles!

Lost at sea. I’ve got to stop spending Thursday nights in the bar with Isaac but he does make a good cappuccino.

Well, seems like there's only about 4 of us non solvers so it might not be all that interesting...

Ashore thanks to @ColinM’s saying stare at it until you see it.

That worked for me this time! Easy to say, not always easy to do.

"Easy" once you see it. It took me a while to see it, however! Glad to be ashore with you beach forerunners!

Here's an update on the pool boy:

P. B. J.'s M. O.

Our pool boy James—such eye candy!—
Is really remarkably handy!
He keeps the place spotless.
We never go potless!
He makes our cabana islandy!

He knows how to handle Miss Mandy:
Whenever she’s had too much brandy,
He flouts her flirtations
With infinite patience,
And that’s why we call him Jim Dandy.

On shore, after having been mislead by something that I initially misspelled.

There are a lot more on the ship than just the 4 of you.

Most of them are in their cabins swigging Boon's Farm from a bottle in a bag.
