Good luck having Breakfast Stout for breakfast. Very tasty, but last time I tried that, I went back to sleep for another hour.MajordomoTom wrote: Thu Feb 24, 2022 5:11 pm It's breakfast time somewhere, yes?
On the beach, enjoying this new find.

Wow - I must be making this harder than it is because I'm firmly on the ship right now. Hmph.

Ashore, tho my beach Jeep is still having trouble with its front-end alignment. Gotta go get on it

On shore. No real obstacles to surMOUNT, once agAIN. And no BLundering clUElessly through rabBIt holes. A fairly quick trip to this 5-letter woRD, once I had a chance to look at it. Kahlua and Cream for me before bed tonight.

I saw the path while still doing the grid, something that doesn't happen too often to me. I'm not sure the meta answer exactly described my feeling though, nice as the puzzle was.

ON SHORE. It's possible I'm on another island, but I'm pretty confident I'm on the right one. Time for that cocktail.

I’m ashore after a quick swim. Nice puzzle. Now I’m actually in the mood for a root beer.

Ashore! Embarrassingly late!
I got up early this morning and spent two hours shoveling snow. By the time the puzzle was posted, all I really wanted to do was take a nap. But I did the puzzle anyway, saw the gimmick, wrote down the five letters that resulted, and … somehow … I wrote one of them wrong. So I scratched my head, set the puzzle aside, took my nap, and only now got back to looking at it.
Geez. I coulda been on page one! I coulda been somebody! I coulda been a contender!
But … AWTEW … and now I have the weekend free, after all …

I've fallen down a few rabbit holes, so I'm still a bit lost at sea here. Gonna sleep on it and hope I see the ripples from these 6 pages of trips to shore in the morning.
