Nada, zip, zilch!! With Isaac on the ship! Seems like I should have this…I even see a big hint but it’s not leading anywhere! Babysitting this weekend so need to have it figured out today! 🧐

I think I got it? I have an answer that's defensible but I'm not 100% confident in it. If anyone feels sure and willing to PM me, I'd like to check!

I feel the same way, would say on the same boat, but I am on a beach, potentially the wrong one!

Got a clean break and completed the grid, and I think I see the key mechanism.. but I still need to figure out which six balls to sink. Perhaps I'll see some of you this afternoon, but I'll have a greyhound in the meantime, Isaac..

A dirty martini with plenty of brine
At ten in the morning was simply divine.
He stirred it and strained it and gave me the glass,
And I said to Isaac, "This surely will pass

Right over the tongue and then straight down the throat,
Then maybe I'll figure a way off this boat."
Just then we were hit by an oversize wave.
I staggered and bobbled, attempting to save

That precious elixir from wasteful demise.
Succeeding, I sat down and, shutting my eyes,
Prepared for a taste and leaned back in my stool,
But, leaning too far, I tipped into the pool.

"Avast!" cried the lifeguard, "Get out of there, you!
Because of your drink, now the pool's dirty too!"
So, soaked on the outside, I'm shamed to record
I'm dry on the inside and still stuck aboard.

However, the instructions are right there in front of me, so there's hope. Can I make an unlikely four in a row?
For nudges, feel free to PM me. I won't have a clue how to help you, but you might shove me ashore.

Good afternoon muggles.

Our report is a little bit late but since Matt is a little late, I feel better.

And interesting challenge from Mike Shenk - maybe there is trouble in River City.

So far we have 15 on the ship and 80 on the shore.

Stay safe this holiday weekend but enjoy yourselves

Add me to those still on board. Didn't have time yesterday, but today I can't seem to see what I'm supposed to see. Aargh!

Ashore with a xanax, because I'm anxiously awaiting the explanation.

Alas, still at sea, despite letting the filled grid marinate overnight...
Any nudges are appreciated.

Is the Zoom mtg still happening at 4pm EST?

Edit: Never mind, not even two minutes later, we are ashore! Whoo! Strawberry lime rickey for H, and a root beer float for J, please!

We are always happy to get to know other muggles and help in any way! PM's are always welcome. The next best thing to winning a mug is helping a fellow muggle win a mug!

Weird the metanism was the very first thing I thought of.... Except it didn't work.... until 22 hours later.... then it did work.

So, I'll have a vodka gimlet served to me through a 23A in a steady drip for 22 hours.

No dirt left behind here when the guys finish cleaning the pond every spring
To impress upon us kids what a privilege it was to have a swimming pool in our back yard, my parents made us clean the pool cover every spring. We'd spread it out on a hillside, squirt dish soap all over it, soak it down with a hose and then skate across it in bare feet with long-handled brushes. It was so slippery that within minutes we'd be soaking wet and covered with worm guts. Then we had to dry the cover and fold it up before it killed the grass underneath.
Wendy,

Used to do the same thing at our house. Always a blast, until I got big enough I was expected to pick up the cover and move it to it's location for the summer. Also, since we didn't have AC in the house often it was jump in pool cool off then head to bed and try and fall asleep before you got too hot.
