Off the couch after a head slap.

I was waiting for the nudges when it came to me. I had the first step but it took a tweak to my rabbit hole to get home.

Off the couch! I was not paying attention very well when filling the grid. I should have seen this much sooner.

People seem to be doing really well with this puzzle, so I don't know how much this is needed, but it's Wednesday nudge time!

The title of the puzzle, together with one of the Down clues, should suggest the first step.

The first letters of the six hellos don't spell anything, but maybe there's another way to find a letter from each one.

Find the words for "hello" in the six languages indicated by the starred clues, and take a good long look at the grid to see if anything jumps out at you.

Hopefully off the couch. Solved pre nudge. Got so far but then couldn’t get it. Put it down, played some Sudoku and then picked it up again. There it was! Funny how the mind works.

Got it with the nudges...I saw other things in the grid that directed my attention away from that which was important. Also, apparently Crosshare doesn't "know" what you've done on a different computer, so I looked at the little nudges and attempted to apply them working from memory on an empty grid. Didn't work well. :)

Got around to this late and the nudges helped confirm I was on the right track. In the end it clicked. Off the couch!

finally got back to this one after a crazy work week. One of the bits had me stymied until I googled something… ah, yes, that’s easier. ( :

From couch to floor, for a nap.
