On shore. Spent the entire weekend 83% of the way to the answer when the "duh, you've been so dense," moment struck and I found what I needed.

Just another typical Ides of March storm like the ones I so fondly remember in Cleveland. 🌨Janet P wrote: Sun Mar 13, 2022 1:39 pmNope to that hope. Still snowing here on the shores of Lake Erie. Little accumulation but that is little consolation.Bob cruise director wrote: Sun Mar 13, 2022 12:19 pm Good Sunday morning muggles

It is true, thank goodness for nudgers, and though "I have always relied on the kindness of solvers" (apologies to Margaret Mitchell) I usually did not have to do it EVERY puzzle.

Ashore. Had my aha moment directly after asking for a nudge. Figured out the first word, pondered a bit at the second but a second glance confirmed the phrase for me. Whew! Down to the wire!
...Remember there are worse things than a shattered chandelier...
If you see I'm ashore and need a nudge, feel free to message me.

Ashore (at least in my mind). Tried all weekend to finish the two-word phrase, but will submit my initial thought.

Nice reference to an esoteric Monty Python skit! Love it.Tom Shea wrote: Sun Mar 13, 2022 7:06 pm
Here's my conspiracy theory -- and it's almost as good as Anne Elk's dinosaur theory.....
"I have with me in the studio today, an elk. Uwaaaah! Oh, I'm sorry. Not 'an' elk, but 'Anne' Elk. Mrs. Anne Elk"
"It's Miss."
"Ah. Miss Elk is an expert on the brontosaurus..."
"No no no..."
"I'm sorry?"
"Not Anne Expert, Anne Elk"
"No, I was saying you are 'an' expert, A N, not 'Anne' Expert, A N N E."
Comes across better when not written out I guess.

@Al Sisti is honored by being named Grand Marshall of the Utica St. Patrick's day parade which is today
Winter storm warning is in effect for Utica as Al is marching with 5-8 inches of snow before during and after the parade
And Al is marching with a sheleighly for two miles
We want pictures - video preferably

Ashore with 25 minutes to spare, albeit tentatively with what I think could be two defensible answers. I submitted the one that seemed more common, will laugh when I find out both are wrong!

On shore, after starting the grid with an hour til deadline. Nothing like turning it in at the eleventh hour!

I'm sorry, I'm 110% dense tonight - I see your grid/colors, and I still don't follow.
obviously, I spent the weekend with Isaac this week.
EDIT: never mind, I see it now.
Chambers is part of the clue for Crain.
Pet is part of the clue for Hair.
