Ooh1 Thanks for this info! I love maps and am adding it to my daily repertoire -- I'll never get out the door in the morning... :P

Finally saw this and am ashore. Took me a while and was getting frustrated with myself since so many people seemed to find it with ease. I like it now that I see it!

Grid solved Thursday. I'm on day 2 of seeing
... nothing. After zipping through the past 3 solves, a meta-fog has settled about me. Still with Isaac.

Grrrr - mechanism blind! These are always my greatest fears, a meta that people rip through with ease and I stare at, and stare at, and stare at. I tried all of my usual "I'll bet it is this" and it isn't. Time for some serious soul searching.

NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges IF ASKED; metas should be about fun, not frustration. PM me what you have done so far, because often you are closer than you think, and I will try to help you move along.

I’d try the grid instead of your soul, just saying.

At sea with Isaac. Just not seeing it.
And stuck on Wordle too! Argh!!
Temperature hovering near zero in the Idaho central mountains. Too cold to even step outside. Gonna stay right here with Isaac until I figure this out.

First time in a long time that I've had time to look at the puzzle before the weekend. Happy to be spending the weekend together on the shore with all the muggles.

I'm on the beach with the crowd and trying to avoid stepping on any Turtles. Another clever puzzle.

Tonight I'll crack open a Karl Strauss 33rd Anniversary Ale and temporarily distract myself from the news of the world with "Viva Knievel!" on TCM Underground.

Finally caught up with the muggles

First welcome to twelvetones our newest muggle. As always great to have more muggles

We have those who got this easily and more than a couple getting solace with Isaac. For all of us, some come easily and others make you feel like this is the first meta we have ever seen.

We have 9 on the ship with Isaac and 138 on the shore.

And while I was doing this, I had the Irish Tenors on playing. This is John McDremott and for those of you who are younger, take this to heart.

Your knees bark? They must be dog-tired. At least you still aren't aboard the bark you sailed in on. Maybe you'll find a bark-a-lounger on shore someplace? Then you can bark an order to the cabana boy.

Oh no... After doing Dr. Tom's puzzle this week, I can't stop punning, or whatever that is I just wrote...
GOL (groan out loud). Thanks Hunter.
I'll admit it. I have a problem. Sorry. I usually say it came with being a dad and having a duty to live up to the stereotype of always saying dad-jokes. But I can come clean, now that I'm amongst friends. It's a serious condition that has afflicted me most of my life. And it's only gotten worse with age. Sure, sure, it means I get along great with my fiancée's father as we have little pun-contests at the dinner table, causing the others eye strain as they try to roll their eyes ever higher. But it's a compulsion. Involuntary. Just like the Restless Leg Syndrome that keeps me awake at night. I only hope it's not terminal...

Cuz I hate train stations!!!

SORRY!... See? It's a real problem!

On shore for third week in a row after several weeks of whiffing. Nice to have a bright spot in the week to get me through this long winter!

I learn great stuff here!
(And certainly, learning something that gives me an excuse to have a donut is great!)
Ooo... Do I smell the aroma of a Muggle controversy baking? How do you spell fried rings of dough caked in sugar, icing, sprinkles, and other delicious toppings? Is there a "correct" way? (Don't let your eyes glaze over now...)

But isn't National Doughnut Day the first Friday in June in America? Not that you can't eat doughnuts any day. Just because there are only 20 National and International Wine Days in 2022 doesn't mean I'm not drinking wine the other 345 days!

This one took a while, but our family was focused on the birth of a grandchild! Early morning arrival. Solved the meta this afternoon; having a good run these past few weeks.

HOLY COW. I solved it before one of the members of the All Star Meta Team? An impossible seismic event. It's probably because your brain is exhausted from CREATING 2 great metas this week!

Beautiful Bob. You had me in tears with this one. I lost my dad when he was only 55 years old and I also lost my grandfather, who I was also dearly close to and who taught me woodworking.
I think it is good for the soul to have such reflections.
Thanks!
