Hi Muggles! I posted a new puzzle on my Crosshare page and it happens to be a meta! It shouldn't be too hard, but it does require some specific-ish knowledge and possibly some Googling. https://crosshare.org/crosswords/AV6dgb ... thing-meta

Hi there, really enjoyed your grid but I just can't seem to get a toehold on the meta. I'm guessing it's out of my wheelhouse... will you be releasing any nudges?

Enjoyed the puzzle! Lost on the meta, but I'm still trying to get a feel for those.

Thanks for solving! Since it's not a contest (and thus there's no deadline) I hadn't really thought about nudges, but here's one: Are you familiar with The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy? And its sequels?

Well this is embarrassing. This is a subject I know very well and certainly should have seen, but I managed to totally miss it until your nudge.

Very clever! Thanks, Emma!

You're not the only one. I am a huge fan, and I still didn't twig until I was given a helpful nudge!
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!
