Can You Make the Time? -- December 2021

A monthly, music-themed meta crossword published at noon on the first Tuesday of every month. The puzzles increase in difficulty each month, and at year end there is a 13th puzzle (the "Mega-Meta") that invokes each of the 12 monthly puzzles. I am still working on the mega as well. It looks like we have until December 20 to submit an answer. Something to fill my time before the Thursday and Friday WSJ and MGWCC metas come out this week.

Mega meta solved and submitted. I found the red herring mechanism, but have not yet deciphered which Alessia Cara song it is hinting at.
