I think I need to go back to meta kindergarten. Or maybe meta pre-k. I am starting to lose track of how long it’s been since I’ve solved a WSJ meta.

On the shore but with a nudge. However, I believe that I will sit here by the water and reevaluate my solving strategies.

I am ashore. I liked this one! I dropped off the Zoom call before the group appears to have solved it, but the call helped me eliminate enough paths that I don’t feel comfortable submitting this week. Good luck to all who submitted!

Haven't had much time the past few weeks to really sit down and attempt a solve. While I am enjoying the brain exercise I must admit to utter frustration about the hamster wheel I'm stuck on. Isaac, don't close my tab just yet. In fact, plan on keeping it open until midnight tonight.

Happy weekend, y'all!

Thanks to a generous nudge I am pretty sure I have the mechanism, but still can't pull out the final answer. Sheesh. I am pretty sure this was only supposed to be a three-hour tour, Isaac.

(Trying to peruse old solutions, but am getting a server error for some of those pages)

Physically on the beach on the Forgotten Coast of FLA. Meta-physically hanging out with Dory in the middle of the ocean. Need to find the turtle (was its name Crush??) to catch a ride to this meta's beach.

Good Sunday morning muggles. Our badge of the week

We are perilously close to the meta Mendoza Line of 40% on shore. We have 67 on the very crowded ship and 46 on the shore (41%) - most with more than a little assistance from the life guards.

A couple of welcomes to our newest muggles - KrisHendo and Hammertime.

At sea! First time back in metaland after a very long hiatus. Can anyone send me a nudge? I won't submit for the mug, just need to shake off the dust!

Ashore! Hurray!! I got a bit of help so I won’t submit but I’m so glad I stuck with it. Looking at my highlighted grid it really does look like a solve from the good old days.
I haven’t been on the beach for so long I don’t even know if that margarita pitcher is still going around. I’ll have whatever the cabana boy is serving.
Good luck to everyone!

I asked Isaac for a bottle of his finest red.

He gave me Boone's Farm. Haven't seen that since college.

The ship needs a massive resupply run for the sadly overtaxed bar.

And I need a brain boost.

I'm still at sea on this one. I will have time to take a closer look this afternoon and may be asking for help to at least fill in some rabbit holes.

Is there anyone else at the ship's bar who would want to be part of a 'last call' Zoom session in the evening for those of us who can't quite get this to come together? I have to log off for now - if others want to arrange something, I'll join.

I think I need a teeny, teeny nudge.... just ... a finger saying "over there" or something.

On shore.

With what I would call a minor nudge or two.

On shore, but only after a major nudge. Happy to have finally solved it, but won't be submitting!

Could someone send me a minimal nudge?
I really hate asking. I wanted to get this one free and clear. But every idea that occurs goes absolutely nowhere.
So, please. I have things that I should be doing. Thank you.

Once more, I find myself lost at sea. I'm staring out, but I don't spy the shore at all. If anyone could offer a small nudge? I was really hoping to get this one myself, but I don't have any idea where to look.
