Done. We need more challenging puzzles please. I remember when i woke up in the middle of a Saturday night and solved the "Mi Senora" puzzle last year. I was walking around my house in the dark cheering. Haven't had that feeling in a while.
Consider subscribing to the MGWCC. It’s pretty difficult at times.
If you like Rows Gardens check out my mini ones here: viewforum.php?f=41. Nudges are free on the off chance I’ve solved the meta.
Got (I think) the answer pretty quickly. Since I struck out twice last week (I was so sure!!), thinking maybe I should wait a while before submitting, so still hanging around that darn boat.

As soon as I saw the clues, it seemed fairly obvious what was going on. (It seems that lately that's my method with metas: either see a pathway right away or just never see it.) But in going on to the next step there seemed to be a bit of inconsistency that bothers me a bit and it bothers me even more that no one else seems to be bothered by it. That makes me feel that maybe I'm wrong. But what I found cannot be a coincidence and it would be a huge amount of work for Matt just to put it in as a red herring. So, I've decided that my answer is right. Maybe I'm just missing some step that would make it all tie up nicer....or maybe it is good as is.
Wow, I 'm really rambling and can't seem to find the words to express myself clearly. I'll just leave it as: I pretty sure I'm on shore.
I feel the same way on all accounts. Thought about mentioning it when I posted my “onshoreness” but did’t. Glad someone did though!
Don’t bother me until I’ve had my coffee and done the crossword.
Jamison: "Quotes, unquotes, and quotes."
Spaulding: That's three quotes?
Jamison: Yes, sir.
Spaulding: Add another quote and make it a gallon. How much is it a gallon, Jamison?

I think I got this one. My first solve, yay!
congratulations and welcome to the world of the muggles. The first of, I am sure, many solves. Good luck winning the mug.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. Under Come Aboard/FAQ-Community, there are some explanations about our zany comments as well as some very good suggestions about how to attach these metas.

Awakened from a deep Guinness snooze to wonder where all of the happy muggles are, only to realize I've landed on a much smaller island, most-likely alone, with the exception of this bone & head, unless it's a mirror. Having submitted, I am too far to swim to safety & have sent the ferry away.
Cruise Director Bob: Remove me from the scrolls of those properly beached, please. I am not worthy.

I worry that if you are on the wrong beach, you should look around, there probably are more muggles there. And there might even be a tiki bar.
