Got it! What page are we on now?

Edit: 3? I'll take it.
Funny story. I was all set to enter Par for the course for the CrossHare midi contest for April but I mistakenly thought midi meant 7x 7 and not 11 x 11. Oops. Well.... Here's a complex but **small** meta on the subject of golf.

Tricky one, but I'm pretty sure I've got it. Sure enough to submit, anyway.

I believe I'm ashore. Will ponder a bit before submitting in case I missed anything, but it seems pretty clear. In any event, beer me!

ATTENTION SAFARI USERS:

A muggle is requesting help with working the WSJ online form using Safari: Problems with WSJ Crossword on Safari

If you might be able to help, please read & reply.
I usually use Safari but gave up for the WSJ crosswords as my work would get lost.
I am using Firefox on a Mac for these puzzles and had trouble this week. Would type in some letters and they would go away or go to some other square.
Trying again and again got it. Anyone else have a problem?
Figured it must be the computer or something as pen and pencil solvers would not have the problem.
I think I am about halfway to the beach.

On shore. I got the mechanism quickly, but it took me a while to complete it.

Excellent puzzle. As always - I don’t know how they manage to consistently construct such subtle, clever grids. Fun solve!

On shore.

I didn't get to the puzzle right away because I thought I would PAss the time on this not so baLMy afternoon by WAlking through the neaRBy cemetery. I had my binoculars so that I could be aLERt to any wildlife. I saw a lot of this bird--one of the later fall migrants so winter is on its way. I also saw a few of these:

I think I'm very close... count me in a dinghy, rowing hard. I can just about see the cabana boy waving at me in his bright pink Aloha shirt.

CORRECTION: made it to shore -- very cute and very fun meta. Loved this one...
