Good Saturday morning muggles.

First,-if any of my posts are more incoherent than normal it is because I have the Ryder Cup on one computer screen while I am posting WSJ status and figuring out the MGWCC. Whistling Straits looks like a great golf course but bring plenty of golf balls. But you probably can find a lot in the fescue. Would that I could hit the ball 300 yards even once.

Isaac has a big smile on his face this week as we have 28 on the ship and 77 on the shore. Pretzels and popcorn are free this week on the ship so he can keep the muggles happy.

And we welcome Nadine as our newest muggle

Keeping Isaac busy are (and Commodore, you are cut off for now)

Pretty easy grid for the team to finish off. Then nothing. Well, a few ideas. But none working at the moment. So I'm hanging with Isaac while the kids are probably playing video games having lost interest in the meta puzzle.

That gives me the chance to solve it after hours and hours of staring, then send them a text saying, "Yeah, I got it. It's pretty straight-forward. Don't you guys see it yet?" Gotta keep them from thinking I've lost my edge. Never know where that will lead...

I think that's "$3 MENU" in RPN.

Mark me ashore! Had a stumble in the solving. A kindly fellow muggle suggested that something that I was using might need a slight adjustment. As I fussed and fumed at how unhelpful that was, I recognized the adjustment I needed and responded with a "thank you" instead of my initial planned response of...well...anyway, I didn't use it.

Fortunately I finished before work. I had to shift my schedule and was very sad to find out that they were short-staffed this afternoon. Bummer.

On the ship with Isaac. Not likely to get back to this before Sunday night so I guess it is a miss for me this week.

Like our Cruise Director, I've been immersed in Ryder Cup, so I'm very late in posting. It's clear to me that I am not in possession of "good crossword solver's thinking", certainly this week. Hanging with Isaac, happily, and not figuring on a beach side arrival this week.

Enjoy the weekend, Muggles.

Firmly on the boat with Isaac. Trying a few different methods, but I'm obviously clueless. Not even sure which direction the beach is. Going to keep staring at it and hope something clicks.

Have a great weekend everybody!

Found something promising but have screeched to a halt trying to make sense of it all. I guess I'll keep sitting here talking Isaac's head off.

Unfortunately, Bob, you are giving me too much credit. I have apparently not been thorough enough in my perusal of the puzzle as I am hanging out on the ship. The fall flowers in the stern garden are lovely and the free popcorn is full of buttery goodness.

Haven't had as much time as usual this weekend, but feel like I've spent enough time that I should record my still-on-ship status, lest I start getting side-eye from Isaac.

LOL and just like that, something I noticed early on came back around and bam there it was. Post enlightenment strikes. :)
Don't worry Isaac, I still left you a tip. On shore now though, maitai in hand.

I was ready to going down a rabbit hole potentially too deep to not be able to recover from in time, and that's only when I saw the light. Phew. Would've been an easy miss. Now on shore.

I'm so lost I don't even see any rabbit holes to go down. Yikes.

Update: Found the major thing here in the puzzle. Now figuring out where to go with it for the solution.
