Downtown Philadelphia after the storm - - still flooded. Yes, that's an interstate under the water. . . . Thankfully all safe here, but feeling for those who are suffering from Louisiana to the NE.

Yes, quite the scene here in the City of Brotherly Love!




I guess if you've spent a year worried about COVID-19 and all the weird things it can do to you (besides potentially killing you), then you aren't particularly worried about flood waters from the Schuylkill mixed with road gunk, trash, and assorted other pathogens floating in a flooded highway!

Speaking of which we have a mob at the Tiki bar again. There are an even 200 on the shore and 4 keeping Isaac company. Isaac is starting to feel lonely not to mention being short on tips. He has requested a couple of challenging metas to fill the crew's coffers.

More like "eye twirling" spouses. That was the response I had from my husband as I tried to explain the multiple step answer (that I needed several nudges toward) a few weeks ago. I think if I had said "and from there....." one more time, he would have left the room.

A typical progression That sometimes stops after step 3, but very fast this time: the entire sequence took about 15 seconds. To wit -- "I'll never get this. I hate this. Why do I torture myself. Wait a second. OH that is FUNNY! I love it!" And then for some reason I thought of 'being bethumped by words.' LOL Have a good long weekend, all!

On shore, took longer than it should have. Enjoying the dregs of a pitcher of G&T that my wife had me mix for a gals’ pool party she hosted. So I got to be a cabana boy for a brief shining moment!

Congrats on both fronts. A life long dream?

For me? No. For the ladies? Perhaps . . . until I pulled out my bottle of tanning lotion, at which point I was chased away. I don't think that would've happened to a real cabana boy!
