I know about Clue mostly from crossword puzzles, but that was enough, especially with the memory of this one:

floating around the dark reaches of my mind. Interesting that both Peter and Will had their game boards upside down from the Wikipedia one.

So what was the wrong answer? I didn't initially get a solid click from the dining room, but after letting it marinate a bit it felt solid enough.

Oh, I didn't know about this one. Damn, now I feel like we stole Will's idea!

The most common wrong answer was Cellar - I expect that came from people who didn't have a strong memory of how Clue works, saw the body there, and concluded that was the murder scene. One person submitted White/Hall/Wrench, which I thought had at least some merit because that's the only place where a weapon and a suspect actually intersect - but that wouldn't explain why Peacock and Revolver just didn't show up in the puzzle at all.

I think it's more a matter of great minds thinking alike.
