All these wonderful pictures! The cat has left the Trader Joe's bag! Pretty neat meta, imo.

That was fun. I'm pretty sure the cat's out of the bag. Fortunately, overthinking has never been a problem with me.

Submission #2. I like this one more better....
EDIT: ...again. Sigh.
(And after re-reading carefully, my second guess was more worser. It's a good thing I'm getting new glasses soon )

Cat seemed to be sleeping but suddenly leapt out, clear into the next room.
Very enjoyable!

I'm tardy, wig askew.

Submitted another go. We'll see what happens.
If this doesn't work I'm going to have to start posting cat pictures like everybody else. I do take requests. Long haired, short haired; solid, striped; black, white, orange, brown; yellow, green, odd eyes; sleeping, sleeping, sleeping, sleeping (What?! You try catching them in any other pose!); cat and lizard, cat and squirrel, cat and dog, pile of cats, cat-shaped lump under a blanket, ... Not all combinations are available. Your money back if you're not 100% satisfied.

I don't have anything clever to say, but if I did, it would go here.

The rejection crossed this post in the mail. Okey dokey.hoover wrote: โThu Jun 10, 2021 10:32 am Submitted another go. We'll see what happens.

I probably don't even have to say this but IMHO that's half the fun of all this wacky stuff!

Finally got it! But I needed so much help I am going to leave the cat in the bag until next week. With provisions of course.

I needed all the nudges, so I'm not going to count this as a solve, hence no kit pic.

I, too, needed all three nudges. I was trying to figure out where to go for dinner on Wednesday and the local Japanese place kept coming to mind thanks to the letters in this grid.
Good luck, fellow Muggles!

Due to the last two weeks' worth of all puzzles presented on xword-muggles, I've been craving General Tso's Chicken.Wendy Walker wrote: โSat Jun 12, 2021 9:34 am I, too, needed all three nudges. Ah, did not get this one. Nice.
However, spiraling out from the center, it reads MATT SAS IT. If you add a Y, you get "Matt says it," i.e., says "why?" when he's overthinking.
