Marion and I are in the sand relaxing.............she did all the steering, but this week I was in the boat and helping get us there. I agree it was harder than a 2!

Luck to all..........

See post #35, Bob....I WAS on the boat. However, I am now on shore, thanks to Meta Daughter. Her knowledge base is much broader than mine. HOWEVER, we disagree on the correct answer, so we have submitted 2 different things.

Feeling dumb and tired,
Isaac’s mojitos inspired,
Still onboard and wired!

Illuminates the truth of what the oldies on this board say: that the more you do the more you see. [There must be an antonym for "newbies".]
How about "silverbacks"?

(I have found a life raft and am desperately trying to paddle it in the right direction!)
I don't have anything clever to say, but if I did, it would go here.

Despite a nice nudge, I'm still lost at sea, maybe too busy with my rescue babies so I'm okay with missing this week

I had been lost at sea
my chances of solving were wee
with a gentle suggestion
nudgors cured my depression
and now I‘m as pleased as can be.

Stuck in my house for a year
Not as bad as it first would appear
While I missed out on snuggles
I met some great Muggles
and now I‘m ashore with a beer.

(no not really a beer, but it rhymed
and not stuck but I stayed in much more WFH)

My city is really declining
but you won’t catch me whining
or out dancing and dining.
Instead of crypto-mining,
my stars are fin‘ly aligning,
Im on the shore reclining.

Still at sea! Despite some delicious KC barbecue, several local Boulevard beers, and later some yummy pizza, no inspiration for the meta! Oh well, at least I’m having fun in KC! A slight hint would be appreciated.....

Update: on shore! A little nudge helped point the way so I could swim ashore!

On shore!! Was in despair because of the last two misses but got it this time.

Fun because my first thought seemed so good that when it didn’t pan out I still felt I was on the right track and indeed I was.

Finally ashore. Took so long that all the fun side trips are booked up. Dinner, then. Regards to all.

On shore! Sat down with Natasha to revisit after volleyball and some furniture repair, and it came quickly after she noticed something I missed. Two heads are better. What a great meta!

Now safely on shore. A little run around as well to get to 100% but found the right swim path. Lots of good connections and roadblocks to tell about while getting to the meta. Celebrating the sand with a Lil Beaver Wyezick Hefeweizen.

IMHO, both answers will likely be considered correct, but again IMHO, the one that required the extra step is the "correct" answer.

Mainly because, in my short time here, that is how Gaffney's puzzles work.

And on the shore are:

I didn't want to say this on the first page for fear of being ticketed by the POE-lice, but how about Wendy, rocking #1 like a boss! And KayW also breaking 30 minutes...

I'm floating out in the ocean, with no idea what direction the shore is. I'd love a nudge!
