LOL. I quoted the same lyric before I saw yours. May your words always glow with the gold of sunshine!

I know that feeling well.yourpalsal wrote: ↑Sun May 02, 2021 3:11 am Then Shabbos started, which for me means no screens or any writing implements. Just staring at the grid, watching the letters swim before my eyes...
A similar feeling regarding MGWCC - 12:00 PM is 7:00 PM here. Shabbat usually started by then. I know it's in the inbox but it's gotta wait the extra day until I can look at it!

Finally made it to the beach! I knew where i wanted to go for the meta, but the first path ended in the bilges. I persisted, and still wound up there. Was giving it my last chance this morning, and there it was. So nice to be off the ship. It's been a few weeks and i'm enjoying the sand between my toes.

Man, once in a while the local sports show (which is really good about not being a bunch of meatheads) gets to talk to Bill Walton and he’s always a trip. I wish I could just call him up and listen to him ramble for an hour. Heck, I’d pay for that. 976-LSD-BILL.

Solved Friday, but only got around to posting now. I tried early to backsolve into a different 5-letter adjective, but the better answer became apparent pretty quickly.

Oh, my, does this conversation about "Be Here Now" take me back a few years! My copy was so beat up that I hardly recognized the actual new, untorn, unwrinkled cover that Commodore posted. Cool graphics but even in those impressionable years I realized the text could have used a good copy editor. My high-school boyfriend gave me a copy for Christmas in 1975 (didn't it cost something like $3.33?) and I passed it along to a deserving young friend in 2006 or thereabouts.
Good luck, fellow Muggles!

Bird, this made Mark laugh out loud at breakfast and continue chuckling off and on all day Saturday! Thanks for that!Bird Lives wrote: ↑Thu Apr 29, 2021 6:10 pmThe backcourt is a league in competition with the pros with teams like Sbarro, Cinnabon, Panda Express, etc. Oh wait, no. That's the food court.

Yes, good advice!! Love to work on puzzle with my daughter, too , when she visits. She is often the one who figures out the meta for me! ... but when she’s at home, she does her own puzzle and we discuss via FaceTime or text! Next best thing!Bob cruise director wrote: ↑Sat May 01, 2021 8:56 pmHang with us. I am sure you are more capable than you give your credit for. Besides your daughter can get the puzzle via internetCollegetowngirl wrote: ↑Sat May 01, 2021 1:54 pm On shore. Was tough. Was kind of a fluke that we escaped from our rabbit holes.
This will likely be the end of our streak as our daughter, whose insight and teamwork has unlocked every meta while she’s been living with us for the past few months, is leaving the country tomorrow for a year. Waaah! Expecting to be with Isaac 75% of the time from now on.

Speaking of Scarlet Begonias, mine nearly succumbed to a white, powdery fungus, but months of care with a fungicide oil brought them back from their near death experience!Tom Shea wrote: ↑Sun May 02, 2021 9:15 amEverybody's playingyourpalsal wrote: ↑Sun May 02, 2021 3:19 amLOL. On shore at last. Sometimes knowledge of the subject is a barrier. I should have relied on Google instead of my memory but it finally clicked.

Having coffee this morning with Isaac, trying to put in practice the advice of the way to get out of a hole is to first stop digging.

If you can remember the Dead shows you went to, you didn't do it right.Tom Shea wrote: ↑Sun May 02, 2021 9:12 amDead shows in the 80's?yourpalsal wrote: ↑Sun May 02, 2021 3:11 am Ashore.
