OK-answer submitted (I think). I saw one neat thing which made me like the puzzle more than I initially did.

Answer: BASEBALL DIAMOND
Correct Entries: 10
I tried, in what I thought was better than the first "find it" puzzle (TIMES SQUARE, December, before I knew you guys existed, haha) to give ample clues to baseball, sprinkling the theme entries around the grid similar to that of a baseball diamond (HOME RUN DERBY would've been nice but too many letters). Of course, the punchline is the quite literal diamond shape of the word BASEBALL in the middle, which should confirm.
In retrospect, I probably should have included 15-letter place, so I acknowledge my shortcomings there, though we can have a good discussion on whether it's abundantly clear that the answer should be BASEBALL DIAMOND and not, say, BASEBALL FIELD.
Thanks for solving, as always! Excited about the metas on deck for the next few months.
Go Cubbies!

Very nice! I missed the "diamond" entirely. Can't recall if I submitted or not, but if I did it was "baseball stadium/field"
For the missing HOMERUN, maybe TATERTOTS?
