I have a nest too. Tho last year the crows killed the two day old hatchling, so this year I've tried some swirly shiny decorations to dissuade themLadyBird wrote: ↑Thu Apr 15, 2021 10:17 pm And here is my picture from the wilds of Lafayette. Our son and wife left their bikes on their covered balcony all winter. My son made the mistake of leaving his bike helmet out there. Now there is a nest with 2 Mourning Dove eggs!

By the way, I am still on the ship. I see what I need to work with, just don't know what to do with it. All I get is gibberish.

Some of us long for pure, blissful blankness. Enjoy it while you can. This one is very gettable.

Pardon the interruption - but for anyone needing a virtual arts fix, The Shows Must Go On is streaming Matthew Bourne's The Car Man this weekend (free). It's a modern dance based loosely on Carmen. I just started watching, and so far it looks really good:

On shore! This is the first one like this that we've ever gotten, which is pretty exciting.
We also got our 2nd shots today, so double exciting.

Had half of the first half for ages, then decided to have one more look see. I have finally left Isaac and heading to my other favorite bartender Russell at Ruth's Chris. Since it's not Friday, tonight is going to have to be the vodka martini, Mr. Bond. No connect four at this bar though.
Thought about editing my page one post to say I was on shore, but fear the wrath of Khan. The evil side of me thought it would be funny, but the not evil sliver decided I didn't want to be 'that guy' forever here. Maybe I'm late enough to be on page last.
Added note for the vaccine tally: the missus and I both got the J&J before it was pulled. Other than what could be hangover symptoms, no after effects. n.b., 6 incidents out of almost 7 million doses for the J&J vaccine. Glad we got it just before it was pulled. Saved another stick and the logistical gymnastics to get it.

Got part one before going to sleep. Then couldn’t sleep until I solved it.
Took a while because I’m traveling and am without a printer. The Excel sheet saved me. Thank you Mr. Ross!

I really enjoyed the construction of this meta,
and admire the creativity of the meta creators to
dream up this stuff and make it work for us hapless solvers!
