Off the couch!
But I won't enter. I didn't think I'd have much time for this puzzle (we're traveling), so I asked a Muggle for a nudge. (Thanks!)

Off the couch. And as is often the case, I needed a bit of a pull. (Sounds like real life doesn't it?)
Great cluing. Diabolical meta.

Off the couch.
Usually resigned to waiting for the Wednesday nudges, so happy to clear the calendar.
Thanks for the puzzle Al, and good luck solvers.

I had to get a nudge. Then, of course it was so obvious! Nice one, Al!

Al - one correction on the clue to 4D that we can discuss Tuesday night. I remember the first bonehead play very well but had to refresh on the second one.

Got it! (I assume.. submitting.).
Learned a new word (29A), no idea what 4D is about, but grid doable without the webs. 19D is well known to school children in my home state ... fun to see it in a puzzle.
Saw the mechanism from the little clues placed around. Great idea! Thanks for the Monday diversion.

Awaiting confirmation, though I'm very sure. I mean I'm already wearing my confirmation dress.
It took me a while because when I saw a music clue, I entered the much overworked composer of Music for Airports and didn't notice the error in the crossing word.

I believe I am off the couch, and the feeling is divan (he said with a drawl)
EDIT: Confirmed couchless!

NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges where needed; metas should be about fun, not frustration. Send me what you have done so far because often you are closer than you think!

I haven't seen a PM from you. Could it be stuck at "Preview"?
