Also, where does one find the info on how to donate for the forum?

Thanks

Go to the top of the page and look under Isaac's picture. Click on "Donate" and follow the instructions.
Thank you....it was like a meta...the answer staring me in the face the whole time if I just looked at it right.
Don't beat yourself up. There are two kinds of muggles - those who have done the same thing and liars.

Happy to donate! I think I'm ashore but the meta isn't jumping out at me. I see more than 1 possible answer so I'll just tread water for a while...

Having no inspiration on the meta. Count me with Isaac and hopeful that tonight's Bombay Sapphire martini will do the trick.

...although I may have to re-print my grid so I read it. Just like the nuns told me, penmanship is sometimes important.

On shore. Enjoying a red blend.

Grid was tough, though the kids and I got it. Son left the Zoom for D&D. (The nerve!) Daughter and I remained. So dad here only had to compete with one super-smart 20-something kid. But dad found the both the start of the mechanism, and the finish. Boomers rule!

I'm not really competitive. I just don't want them thinking, "Hey, dad's not so sharp anymore."

Ha! Who am I fooling? They already think that! Well, who got the meta this week... again? :D

Finished the grid, but the meta is keeping me at sea.
Would appreciate small nudge.

Edit: Finally got it after some helpful nudges from boharr.

First a warm welcome and CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!

You are our 900th muggle since we started counting in April 2017 when I became the temporary Cruise Director. The contests started in September 2015.

I found something that I think may be the answer. If anyone would like to message me to double check, I’d be grateful because it seems suspicious to me.

On Shore. The grid was more challenging this week than most, but it did teach me a few new clues to remember.

Finished the grid yesterday afternoon in 11:15 and have been scratching my head over the meta ever since. I've followed a few leads to nowhere. I think Isaac's getting tired of serving me NA beer, but I have no idea how long I'm gonna be on this boat and I haven't found the head yet.

OK - I think I must be making this waaaaay too complicated. I have a thought as to the right answer, but can't see the mechanism as to why it's right. Not feeling that "click". Would love a *tiny* nudge.
- Just puzzling it out here in Delmarva :D

Ok. I won't say how far I was down the rabbit hole last week, but the Chesire Cat and the Queen of Hearts say hello. So this week, I have 2 possible answers, one of which I think is funny but not correct, the other is possible but seems too - um - something. So I would accept a confirm or a nudge. If the possible one is not correct I will submit the (hopefully) funny one.

Ha ha! My elementary school put in "temporary" classrooms when I was there in 1975...they're still there...
Thanks for all you do!
