"Let's get this photo op over with so I can get back to my popsicle."
Yeah, data is reading like Week 2. I like to print out Week 3 and 4 but do Week 1 and 2 in Across Lite. Might need to print this one out and chew on it, but I have faith it will come eventually!
Edit: Hope to be beamed up soon! That was a fun one!!

So I've known about Ada Lovelace for decades -- besides knowing her from crossword-friendly first name, I also worked on the MIl-STD 1750a instruction set for Ada, the language that the Air Force was betting on as a universal language -- but I was today years old when I first found out that she was also Lord Byron's daughter.

That was fun, and baby Aha (oops, I mean Ada) is as adorable as her big brother!

Beam me up! Agree it was harder than a typical week one. What adorable kids!

Beam me up. I had to backsolve a couple bits that were outside my wheelhouse.

Beamed up. This felt harder than all of WSJ's February puzzles, so definitely not a week 1 for me.

I'm thinking I should start subscribing just for the family photos --

I liked it a lot. Agree that it's a perfect Week 2, but I can't imagine the challenge of trying get the difficulty dialed in perfectly every week. Beam me up with my Topo Chico (it's only lunch time folks haha)

I was staring at this one for a while thinking “is this really a week 1”? Fun puzzle though and an unusual week 1 “aha” moment
