On shore.
Seems like many of us are sharing a drink and some apprehension!
Good luck everyone.

So count me ashore I guess though I have not gotten that “click” others are describing. This simply has to be the correct answer so I submitted. A snowy Monday here in PA will reveal all.

Stay well

Good Saturday morning muggles.

Another interesting contest from Mr. Gaffney. We have 5 on the ship and 166 on the shore so the tender crews have been busy.

And we have our two newest muggles - ardentgailla and Wilder - always great to have more muggles.

Without further ado, we have on the ship with Isaac

The Savant, it can now be reported,
Seeing how they had clearly consorted,
Found his seat at the table.
What’s more, he was able
To do it and not be escorted.

Came home and...nothing. Crickets. 12:20 early Friday morning, I try one more time before hitting the sack. After doing some highlighting on the grid, I have the AHA moment. The weekend is mine!
What is this "out to dinner with friends" you speak of? Are there people and places outside these four walls I've been looking at for the last 11 months?
Indeed! Whenever I see diners here in the city, they are wrapped in large coats, blankets, scarves, hats, gloves...
In my part of northern Florida, diners are normally in flip flops, tee shirts and the like. Although currently, you’ll also see slacks and a light sweater due to cooler weather. And everyone using common sense (sanitizer, masks, distancing, vaccine) when it comes to their safety and the safety of others.

Okay, so that didn’t take long ... I’m either on shore or I will be part of a large and furious mob demanding an explanation come Sunday. Meanwhile, I’d best get busy and stake out my tiny fraction of what is going to be a very crowded beach ... 😜.

I think you missed me. Though I only announced about an hour before your report, at post #238. (Hmmm.... Second week in a row he missed me in his Saturday report. Should I be taking a hint from this?)

Jealous. Of the weather. And the vaccine. Florida is now the place for "vaccine tourism" I hear. The rollout here in Philly was... um... problematic, to say the least. (Not that I'm eligible yet.) Fifth most populous city in the country, yet Allegheny County, home of Pittsburgh, has administered almost 5 times as many doses as Philadelphia County. (Philadelphia County = Philadelphia the city.)

Finally on shore this week after a very long cruise. Felt like I was stuck on Snowpiercer, going round and round the planet.

My Hoosier sister is visiting Florida for three months of winter. She tells me one has to produce two forms of ID to prove permanent Florida residency to get a vaccination there, to fight the vax tourism. She's hoping the age limit back in Indiana will be lowered by the time they get home.

Well, we all seem to be singing from the same page. Since I was busy Thursday and Friday I solved the GRID today, looked at it, did some ciphering and what to my wondering eyes did appear (no not St. Nicholas) but a solution. NO, I said, that cannot be that simple, besides what is my mechanism???

I cannot detect every good boy doing fine, none of the answers host football bowls and I've tested for any music by Bach - so I am going to submit my answer (and probably everyone's answer) and if nothing else maybe I'll qualify for the "Close but No Cigar" cup awarded randomly to a person among many who got the wrong answer.

All that said I cannot shake this nagging feeling that we are being carefully and unwittingly moved towards that Star Wars moment of "Its a TRAP!"

Never mind, the company is good
NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges where needed; metas should be about fun, not frustration. Send me what you have done so far because often you are closer than you think!

Okay, I guess I'm on shore but seemed either too easy or like I'm missing a step?? Submitted anyway.
