On the beach. Only took a few minutes to solve the meta, but clever nonetheless.

Ashore...temperature dropped here in Florida to a frigid 52, so we're huddled under the blankets waiting for the Old Fashioned to kick in.

What a coincidence, we're going to hit 52 degrees this week too. 13 today, 9 tomorrow, 15 on Friday, 15 on Saturday...Franklin.Bluth wrote: ↑Thu Jan 28, 2021 7:36 pm Ashore...temperature dropped here in Florida to a frigid 52, so we're huddled under the blankets waiting for the Old Fashioned to kick in.

A little struggle for me but finally got it. When I am initially stuck, it helps my motivation to see five pages already and realize I am making it too complicated!

On the beach -- I think.
Philosophical question: If you're not sure you're on the beach, are you really on the beach?

I am ashore! I hope!
I jumped right in and saw some likely steps, but WAs then absoRBed with a wee bunny or two. Had a pre-tiki bar yuengLING with dinner. Took another look, the VItal step jumped out, REOrganized my thinking, and set out for shore.
I do have a quibble with one thing, which I will try and remember for the recap.

Leftovers for 2 more nights, for sure.HeadinHome wrote: ↑Thu Jan 28, 2021 8:13 pmHow are you not 500 lbs??Wendy Walker wrote: ↑Thu Jan 28, 2021 6:26 pm Out to dinner and celebrating a quick solve! Those don't seem like real numbers. I don't think standard thermometers go that low...Al Sisti wrote: ↑Thu Jan 28, 2021 7:43 pmWhat a coincidence, we're going to hit 52 degrees this week too.

On shore! I haven't had a Thursday solve in a while - probably because I often don't even look at the puzzle until Friday. Wow, that warm sand between my toes feels great!
