Marion and i are on shore enjoying the sand. Again, she was at the helm and I had the mop at the back of the poop deck. Looks like we have a good crowd this week...........luck to all - someone should get the china!

I got the same message. I am thinking (I will try to be careful here not to spoil anything) it is because I included something in my answer, which, when I did not include it, allowed it to be accepted.

Entirely possible I'm far out to sea on my answer.

On shore! Several lovely people responded to my plea for a hint. Got the answer quickly after so much help, but I'm not going to submit it. Hopefully I'll get it on my own next week!

I submitted to MGWCC but am not showing up on the leader board after the latest update, so I guess my submission was wrong.

After chasing a wascawy wabbit down a hole, I sat back with a glass of Old Elk and relaxed. Saw the structure immediately, and easily swam ashore. The years, in my opinion, were unnecessary - though a big hint at the same time.

Man, does Isaac have some stories that you wouldn't believe...
On the beach.

I was in my car brooding in silence since there wasn't anything good on the radio.

Thinking of those long answers and how it might all fit together.

And it came to me.

First time solve while "off the grid", so to speak!

On shore, a little pleased with myself given certain gaps in my knowledge of contemporary culture.

Hey everyone! New to this forum and the whole crossword thing. I haven't made it ashore and I was hoping for a hint about the "years" for this puzzle.

Welcome to the Forum! I can see you have already discovered the phenomenon of "post-enlightenment" (solving immediately after you've posted that you're stuck). We Muggles have a Zoom meeting every Tuesday evening -- please give us the pleasure of meeting you.
Good luck, fellow Muggles!

Count me on shore, opting for a Bloody Mary to start my Saturday morning.

Take care!

On shore. It'll have to be coffee at this hour.

Well, well, well... And the kids aren't even awake yet. (Okay, one is on the west coast) Those young whippersnappers will arise to see my triumphant text, proclaiming that with age comes wisdom and superior insight. Then they will be forced to say...

"Meh. What-evs, dad..."

Just here to say I’m still with Isaac and hoping for some post enlightenment. I thought I had the path to a solution, instead I am lost.

Hmmm... Having solved, I think I know to what you are referring. Which makes me wonder about that detail in my submission, which was sent by email. Always wondered about exactly how they filter out all the various submissions, given the volume. Could that explain why I haven't won a mug yet? As others have written, it would be great if on Monday you could get a "Your answer was correct, but..." email. Just so you know it went through.

For now I'll just believe there is a vast conspiracy, plotting to keep me from my coveted mug. My precious...

At sea....Maybe Isaac has Monkey 47, a very good muggle recommendation from a time past (we’ve found it only once in these parts)...
