A big turnout and an unusually high success rate: 1813 entries, 95% correct. One more Thursday contest right around the corner for the holidays. Congrats to this week's winner, Adam Beerman of Somerville, MA. And a safe, happy, and mug-filled 2021 to all!
Happy New Year, Mike, and thanks for everything you do for us Muggles all year 'round!
Good luck, fellow Muggles!

Wow, whatever happened to the good old blowtorch. Great for loosening up rusted nuts and for giving one a reason to replace the entire wooden cabinet the sink is in! Also give the room that pleasant fireplace smell.....
Have you ever tried to use a blowtorch when you are under a sink with no room? It will give the entire house that pleasant fireplace smell

Well I didn't consider the gravity of the situation, that usually just holds me down. Still I didn't think it was all that necessary when you are ammonia friends.
NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges where needed; metas should be about fun, not frustration. Send me what you have done so far because often you are closer than you think!

The Missus retired from running the endoscopy unit at MGH. If you want potty humor, they were full of it. (It makes for a *very* interesting endoscopy when you know everyone in the room.) Myself, I've had a potty mouth since working on submarines for the department of the navy. ...and it went down from there.

My 5-year old daughter asked for, among other things, a unicorn. When I told her Santa probably couldn't get her a unicorn, she asked for a pony instead. Hopefully the Radio Flyer rocking horse goes over well--wish me luck!

If all else fails we are looking forward to the new Pixar film tomorrow.
Was the rocking horse an acceptable substitute for a unicorn or a pony?
Smashing success!

Great - but better plan on either the pony or unicorn next year. The bar keeps getting raised.
