Ashore, fun grid and meta! A Christmas toast to Mike and Matt and the other meta-makers who’ve kept us busy this year, and to Isaac for putting up with us! 🥂

Gosh I guess I'd better get started or I'll be on page 25 if I even solve it - you know me and "easy" puzzles...
NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges where needed; metas should be about fun, not frustration. Send me what you have done so far because often you are closer than you think!

Onshore for the late-night party! This was a pleasant surprise, because I didn’t think the puzzle was coming out til tomorrow.

Ashore!

Like others, forgot the puzzle came out today. And like others, solved before finishing the grid (meta actually helped me complete the grid)!

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate the birth of our Savior, and wishing a safe holiday season for all my favorite virtual friends here in Muggledom.

Made it safely to the shore - the one from the Corona ad with Christmasy lit-up palm trees, to be specific.

Had a few ideas yesterday; opened the web browser this morning and the answer popped right out immediately.

Only 6,294 twelve letter words in the English language
But I can think of only one of those that's something that anybody has said (or sung) that they want for Christmas. In fact, I'm submitting it as a facetious answer (since the chances of winning with the right answer are discouragingly low) in hopes that Michael M will mention it in his Monday post (or post-mortem, or post-mega, or whatever it's called).
I like your answer better! Wish I hadn’t already submitted.

Quick swim to shore this morning. Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.

My 5-year old daughter asked for, among other things, a unicorn. When I told her Santa probably couldn't get her a unicorn, she asked for a pony instead. Hopefully the Radio Flyer rocking horse goes over well--wish me luck!

If all else fails we are looking forward to the new Pixar film tomorrow.

Thank you. That reminded us of days gone by when we had similar requests. Good luck

Wait - you can't say gulf coast and cold water.

I suppose these things are relative.
Two 40-minute dips in this was plenty cold for this Florida Man!
