On shore. Two previous puzzles helped me out and a walk with the dog sealed the deal. That dog is smart!

Edit: Xmas and New Years are on Fridays. Does this mean no metas for a while?

Have been staring at this puzzle for 2 days now and it just won't click. I'm sure the answer is staring right back at me, but I would appreciate a hint!

send me (or anyone) a private message with what you have done and what paths you have taken and I will give you course correction telling you what rabbit holes are going no where and what avenues to pursue

That is the theme of the year for ornaments. All sorts of variations of having PPE supplies

very appropriate

Celebrating the end of a 4 day cold snap. Finally north of 20°and winds petering out.
Small batch whiskey from American Oak Distillery warming me now.
Oh, yes, made it to shore, albeit with heavy eyelids.

(I once had the pleasure of sharing a plane ride with 36-A.
Priceless. The one flying experience that went too quickly.)

Ashore after spending far too long with no ideas at all how to proceed. I think it is a night for a Nikka Date neat.

Ashore! Oh, man did I chase a bunch of rabbits DEEP into their holes before it came into focus. I was on the right track early, got lost in Watership Down, and finally re-emerged with a WHOOP! that amused my wife... :D

Since I'm on shore and had the day free, I baked some Christmas stollen (with marzipan) and sat down this evening to enjoy a classic.

ON SHORE, but I spent far too long staring at this yesterday. Finally gave up and tended to more time-sensitive issues, like the fact that I had not wrapped any Christmas presents except the ones that had to be mailed. Sometime in the wee hours of the morning I came to the realization that I may have been on the right path to the meta solution all along, and hoped I would remember that path when I was fully awake. For once it worked! (Usually my dream-like "insights" are forgotten by the time I get out of bed, or they are so goofy that I laugh at myself for having any hope in them at all.) I had submitted my answer before finishing my first cup of coffee. Now I have the rest of the day to prepare some of my annual Christmas confections, buckeyes and toffee. The biggest challenge I will face is finding a place to hide my homemade goodies from my husband. If I'm not careful, he'll eat too many before I get a chance to share them with neighbors and friends.

Finally ashore!

So many rabbit holes! Normally by this time we (or should I say, I (George)) would have quit in disgust. But we kept at it and finally found it!

Sorry, Isaac, we're off to warm shores!
