My experience with this one exactly!! :)

On shore. Easy grid. The meta had to wait until I went out for “linner”, but also ended up being fairly easy. Nice workout.

And to double the fun, my only daughter is his twin sister - so happy birthday to Dom and Emmy! I have completed the grid but I am at work and haven't tried to crack the meta. I will try to take advantage of his inability to attend to the meta while traveling to beat him to shore.
I grew up in Malvern! Used to bicycle through the grounds of the Retreat House.
Good luck, fellow Muggles!

Solved, at the beach! Creative with a nice several-minute pause between the first step and enlightenment. Enjoyed this one.

Made it ashore!

I picked up on the initial theme and started going down an entirely wrong, yet familiar, path and hit a dead end.

Then I tried doing some real weird stuff and ended up stranded.

Started fresh, reread all the clues, titles, answers, and instructions, and suddenly a new path jumped out at me.

I had one foot on shore, and I was confident I was on the right path this time.

I tried some more weird things, and they led nowhere.

And then I saw the final clincher and nailed it.

This was one of my favorites so far!

On shore. Loved the puzzle construction! I'll refrain from writing more for fear of hints/spoilers.

This was a quick body surf to shore. I actually guessed the solution before I even started the puzzle. Confirmation was nice, natcherly... Another clever one from Mike.

Done and seemingly done. I have an answer I can defend, but I am not 100% on it. 95%, maybe more.
If I'm around, I am willing to join the Muggle Zoom room at other times to lend a hand to those in need.

Can’t get past Step 1. Will have to start on fresh grid tomorrow.

(2 minutes later....got it!)
