A Rawlings LB 15. The LB stands for Lew Burdette, a right-hander for the Braves. He pitched a game against the Pirates in 1959 where the Pirates pitcher, Harvey Haddix, threw a perfect game. A perfect game! For twelve innings! At the age of 33! And lost!

Burdette also pitched a shutout for twelve innings, and in the 13th, Aaron homered.

And I listened to the whole thing on the radio.

Ashore, I guess.
Happy to give nudges. If you notice I've solved, please tell me about avenues you've explored so I can nudge you in the right direction and not off a cliff.

Ashore4us. After I calmed down fearing that I know next to nothing about baseball, I took a deep breath, and gave it a go. Smiddick's me please!

I am not a baseball fan, but after looking at a list of Hall of Fame pitchers and comparing, I believe I am on shore.

:desert_island: :tropical_drink: Ashore, surprisingly enough. I had to confirm on the interwebs that the thing I found was the thing I was looking for.

Checking in from the shore of the tropical isle of Montreal. The Smarter Half and I have solved the grid and are both staring blankly a smooth surface--no rabbit holes in sight. Not our game, of course, but you'd think something would stand out. Nope, at least not yet.

Good news is that Isaac dropped by with a 12-pack of Unibroue Maudite, which will soon cost 25% more south of the border.

Slainte!

Curve ball. It's why she is The Smarter Half: I just tag along to share the glory.

Team Canuck are ashore.

I'd have never ever seen this.
