Thanks to Zoom room crew and Wendy for smooth sailing.
Now, back to Kullback-Leibler divergence aka relative entropy which has had me preoccupied. Oh well, it was nice to be on the beach for a while.
Aloha!
Well I don't know about the Kullbacks and the Liebers, but whenever my family gets together there is relative entropy where everything declines into disorder...

Still hanging out on the boat. I'd appreciate the slightest nudge in the right direction. So far nothing is coming to me!

Count me ashore!

Just got a look this morning. Slogged a little bit but got there after making it harder than it was.

Shortly after posting yesterday, I did see steps one and two.But darned if I can turn what I have into a coherent answer. Hoping for a little more post-enlightenment!

I'm ashore! At least I think so unless there was another step I missed, ha. Thank you to muggles who offered confirming nudges that I was going in the right direction, I just hadn't yet found the place to apply the idea. Then all of a sudden there it was.

@LadyBird, I feel as though I must be following the same path as you.

And @Joe, I have to beg to differ --
Joe wrote: Thu Sep 26, 2024 9:46 pm I don't how some of you thought this was queasy! It was a struggle, but I made it ashore.
After three straight weeks at sea, I'm finding this puzzle quite queasy! :P
Turning green, in fact --

I had the methodology but could not close the deal until I got nudged out of the rut I was in. Or perhaps it was the trip to the vineyard here in France.

On my usual bar stool with 35A.
For nudges, feel free to PM me. I won't have a clue how to help you, but you might shove me ashore.

I used to live on St. Simons, I always thought Jekyll was so pretty. Thanks for sharing, and I hope the damage from Helene wasn't too bad.
Not too bad in terms of damage. But it will take several days before we get some power considering how bad the entire state got hit.
St Simons is one of my finalists in terms of retirement destination.

Ashore.

Saturday afternoon solving session with the kids that was short, so actually a non-solving session. Shortly after hanging up, I saw it. Fun to work through it!

No drink now. About to drive 2 hours.
