Worked on this in between steps for making my family's traditional Italian Easter bread. Good way to spend the day.
And I can't even come up with one answer to submit, much less one that seems to fit and then a second better one.

Done, and done. Those "aha" moments never cease to give me a happy jolt!

It's been a year (give or take a few seconds) that I've been a blog member, so now's a good time to express my thanks to the creator, moderator, and all you contributors. It's enjoyable every week, and I'm looking forward to more.

Also looking forward to my next shore visit. That's actually, not metaphorically. Been too long since we've seen the sun setting into the gulf. Stay safe, everyone.

The fact that you are here and doing the metas takes you far, far from being stupid so never beat yourself up. Some you see immediately, some take time and some the constructor has flummoxed you. But keep at it.

Good Saturday morning muggle. Thank goodness for the contests as it is the only way I know what day it is. Our report is a little early but may not be by time I finish typing.

First a warm welcome to our newest muggles - ladybyrd, Dow Jones, Frenchy and Big Mac. Lauraredisbooks is sort of new as she posted in our Come Aboard page but this is the first time she has been on the shore.

And if you want to learn or refresh your memory, the postings that Joe Ross has put on the Come Aboard/FAQ's Community are tremendous learning tools and great assets for solving the contests.

Currently we have four muggles keeping Isaac company on the ship and 111 spread across the wide expanses of the shore.

For those on the ship, keep plugging. It is solvable and I was beating my head against the wall for 40 hours.

On the ship are
Sew Young
Guy L
Tom S
and Diane

And on the shore are
Omnibus

Joe

At the bar with Isaac - martini lunch - does that qualify as between meals nutrition?

I am on shore, although I am hesitant. I have an answer that fits the mechanism and seems really appropriate for a lot of reasons, but after the last 3 weeks of puzzles, it appears too simple!

On shore. A little late to the party because all of the shuttle boats to shore seemed too crowded to maintain appropriate social distance so we paddled in in our own rubber dinghy. Looking forward to celebrating with a hearty sandwich and a cold brew. Speaking of celebrating, our town is ringing bells at noon Sunday in honor of all of our dedicated health care workers, not only church bells but residents on their porches with whatever kinds of bells they may have.

then it's probably correct, this one is/was much easier than the prior two were. We got it Thursday night.

Around the Boston area on Fridays at noon, everyone goes outside and claps, especially around hospitals, EMT's etc. Because we live on a dead end street, I do a virtual clap on Facebook

And welcome to the group. We love lurkers and former lurkers who have started to post. Good luck winning the mug, although this week will be long odds.

p.s think of running a marathon with 10,000 runners and you are last. Rather than think you are last, you put yourself ahead of the 330 million who aren't running

Whew! After a few tries where I kept getting an answer that I could not justify, I found the piece I was missing to make my answer complete! On shore with a Sea Breeze!

Ashore at last! First time off the ship in 3 or 4 weeks ... it feels as if lockdown has been lifted! (if only)
Now for a Coral Cay Caprioska... or two!
