So, the trick is to go back to sleep and await enlightenment?
Or maybe just wait for the zoom call …….

Ashore! Nice swim this week. I’m still kicking myself over last week’s miss, as a bird lover :(

I believe I'm ashore... Though there is a bit of me that is thinking I'm on the wrong beach perhaps. But I can mostly justify it... So, with that said, pass me an IPA. I don't like to eat on an empty stomach
If you see me on the beach, feel free to pm for a nudge. After all the help I’ve got, I am happy to send it forward when I can!

Ugh. I'm 100% sure that I know exactly what I'm supposed to do here, but I'm having a hard time picking which "six-letter grid entry" would have made a good theme answer. And I've gone through the grid multiple times now and I'm positive that I have the complete list of possible entries. WTF. I'm clearly missing something.

Good afternoon muggles

So far we have one on the ship and 97 on the shore for this challenging meta

And if you don't think that muggles are crazy and suffer from OCD, check out @newbymar's posting.

And there are many similar posts about getting the meta in the middle of the night

Uh, Bob, make that two on the ship....waiting for the beacon to illuminate.
NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges IF ASKED; metas should be about fun, not frustration. PM me what you have done so far, because often you are closer than you think, and I will try to help you move along.

Eh, I guess I see the answer now- but I'll quibble somewhat with saying that it would be a GOOD sixth theme answer. It would be a so-so sixth theme answer.

On shore.

Ain't it a sight? Two Canucks
On a native shore.

Hat trick. Maudite for me, milk for The Smarter Half.
For nudges, feel free to PM me. I won't have a clue how to help you, but you might shove me ashore.

Yeah, took me at least 4 passes to get the right one. I originally picked a not-as-good one….

Ashore, count me in.

I like everyone's odds this week.
There are 12 6-letter answers in the grid.
Picking one at random gives you a 8.33% chance of getting the correct one.
