Off the couch! Looking forward to the other puzzles in this series!! :D
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

Re: Library

Where is the John MacDonald section? I heard he grew up in Utica.

I see at least six copies of Cinnamon Skin, always good to have a few loaners

And I spy Archer in Jeopardy (Ross MacD) on the lower shelf.

Yep... and Charlie Chans on the shelf above his. BTW, John D. MacDonald didn't just write the Travis McGee books. He also wrote "Cape Fear."

Happy Nudge Wednesday! For those of you who are still resting on the divan, here are a couple nudges to get you off. The couch.

The wording of the title can have a couple different meanings. One of them is key.

Having four across entries consist of spelled-out numbers is suspect.

There is a standard metanism that has you checking out the squares with those (unspelled-out) numbers. Is that where you'll find the answer?

A good sleuth follows a lead. In this case, "lead" is (ahem) #82.

I often don't get to the Monday puzzle until after nudges are posted but didn't need them here. Very straightforward and pleasurable. Thanks.

I hadn't noticed Nudge the 3rd. Very clever bonus feature!
If you want help with a meta, feel free to PM me. The more specific you are about what you have and what you want, the more likely I can help without spoiling.

(And if I help you win a mug, I’ll be especially delighted.)
