Ashore after a late Thursday start, no sandbars in the way. Suspect we'll have a crowded beach by Sunday.

Ashore with too many false starts (l’m embarrassed to say) before the “duh” moment hit me.

On shore two weeks in a row. Yay!! In a hotel without a way to print, so had to solve online. Not my favorite way but it got the job done.

Without giving away much of a spoiler my family's from El Reno, whose main claim to fame is being about 10 miles from Yukon, whose main claim to fame is being where Garth Brooks was born.Aragorn wrote: Thu Apr 18, 2024 8:21 pm Ashore! And as someone who has spent a fair amount of time in Oklahoma, I can vouch for “obscure”.
Always happy to provide a nudge if I’m ashore.

Count me ashore. Obscure or not, I'm sure it's a lovely place. A mighty fine pils, if you please.

I was going to say “Ashore,” but there’s a lot of that going around.
Then I was going to comment about that tricky lower left grid…but nope, that’s pretty well covered.
So, I’m just going to bask quietly in my smugness at a Thursday solve.

On the shore quickly, once I was able to start after getting the overnighting grandkids to bed.

Ashore. No Aha! moment, though, as it creeps up on you from start to finish. Entertaining grid, classic meta: Who could ask for anything more?
