On the shore - finally able to get in some Thursday puzzling this week after having to wait until late in the game to solve and submit in recent weeks.
Back to NE Ohio for eclipse watching and Guardians opening day. When here... Definitely recommend the Great Lakes Burning River. Enjoy!

On shore, but what the heck! That took an entire bottle of wine!
(Of course, I should be happy that the key phrase is "it took" as in "we solved it after fruitless/countless weeks of misery but really who's counting" but still.
Glad it's off the plate. Stay safe all you Muggles, esp those recouping from the NE storms. Glad it's "springtime"

Temps in the 80s here already. We're going to be moving back to my home state of Maryland so I have to get used to cold and seasons again (I've been in Mississippi and Florida for 18 years!)Henry Paul wrote: Thu Apr 04, 2024 10:52 pm Glad it's off the plate. PS: If you want help with a meta, PM what you have so I can help without spoiling too much. I've received lots of help in the beginning and I love to pay it forward!

On shore, woot!!
Capping off a banner week: I was humbled this week to be asked by the Governor to serve as a Judge, so I’ll be hanging up my legal spurs in about 4-5 more Metas, and finally able to hear lawyer jokes without rolling my eyes.
(*And* got the Meta??! Clearly, I need to go buy a lottery ticket…)

Ashore! Did not see anything at first and thought it was going to be another dry week. When I saw the comments that Isaac would be lonely this weekend, I had another look and figured it out piece by piece. Too late for a drink now - will have to wait until tomorrow when it gets warm here in Cocoa Beach.

On shore. It’s always a relief to get a Gaffney puzzle sooner rather than later.

Ashore! Would not have been happy if I’d not got this one solo…

On the beach after a very, very late start. Jane solved it this afternoon and I'm playing catch-up this week. Seeking a Lagunitas IPA from the beach bar.

Literally on a ship but Puzzle wise…..on the beach! Enjoyable, but that grid was a tough one. Gin and Tonic should make it better.

I’ve got my toes in the water, *$$ in the sand. Feels good to find it before the zoom! Now I would love a Bombay Sapphire and tonic please. Have a great weekend all!

If you see me on the beach, feel free to pm for a nudge. After all the help I’ve got, I am happy to send it forward when I can!

I am ashore. I don't drink alcohol, but I will take a coffee based beverage even though it's after midnight.
