Welcome to...
benchen71's Metas on a Tuesday (MOAT)
Can you storm the castle by getting across the MOAT? I have a supersized puzzle for you this week, with this my first ever "weekend"-sized meta puzzle. There are a lot of words in this grid but that just means there are more opportunities for some fun cluing! It may also prove to be the only crossword puzzle in the history of crossword puzzles with "malfeasance" in the title. The answer to the meta is a noun.
The easiest way to submit is on Crosshare (and you get instant feedback and unlimited attempts!) But you can also PM me with your submission. Either way, I'll compile a list of those who successfully solve the meta.

Check out "The MOAT Mini Pack of Marching Bands" here. US$5 gets you 7 Marching Bands which, hard enough on their own, now contain metas too. And once again there's a mega-meta!

Crossed the MOAT!
I don't have anything clever to say, but if I did, it would go here.

Bribed my cronies to let me across the moat via the back way.
I liked the 119A reference. Good show that was.

DeMOATed. Very enjoyable - thanks! And I'm seeing 118A tomorrow.

Moat crossed, castle stormed, bureaucrats routed. Thanks for the puzzle, Ben!

Had to backsolve a bit due to missing a glaring hint or two, but got there in the end. Fun idea, thanks.

When I saw what the mechanism was I dreaded I'd have to and I'd miss half and spend hours with a comb and magnifying glass. But to me surprise I only had to backsolve one.

Well that was a lengthy trip across the MOAT, but cross I did. The fill can be challenging but it is also fun and there are a few LOL moments (I have decided I am NOT getting drunk in Australia). Another Super Tuesday (and likely the only thing Super about this Tuesday).

NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges where needed; metas should be about fun, not frustration. Send me what you have done so far because often you are closer than you think!

Across the MOAT and thrilled with how smoothly it came together...unlike some of my recent solving experiences! And a tiny bit of help from Google to confirm. Nice work, Ben!
