Oops, forgot to post here after I solved. Very fun as usual, and straightforward once I paid attention to the obvious. And I can verify that deep (or even shallow) biblical knowledge is not required.

Here's the solution to "When In Rome":
This was the 150th meta puzzle I constructed. It was also supposed to be the 150th meta puzzle I have released. I went to great lengths to do a certain number of guest MEOWs just to time the release perfectly. And then came the surprise Gaffney guest appearance! So this is now my 151st meta released. But no matter: guest appearing on the MGWCC well and truly takes precedence!
If you're interested, here are puzzles 101-151 and where they appeared:
This was the 150th meta puzzle I constructed. It was also supposed to be the 150th meta puzzle I have released.
