Can someone explain the "PAGEANT" references for a newbie? I am guessing this must have been a famous Rabbit Hole? Curious minds want to know! :D

Ashore, but like others wonder if I've missed some more complex nuance.

Ashore. I've been in a meta slump this week, so I asked a kind Muggle for confirmation and got it.

I too was suspicious of an Easter Pageant. If I had checked this board right away and seen @Joe Ross's assurance (#2) that this was "straightforward," I'd have saved myself some time.

I am on a shore which I hope is not quicksand or a sinkhole.

The rabbit will either have had his choice of many stories or only chocolate to feast on.

Finished the grid hours later. Not due to difficulty, per se, but due to lack of need & admitted bone-infused laziness.

Appreciate prior logs, going with the most obvious answer but unsettled about it. Wonder whether there is a good old German word for the feeling of "there must be more".
Regards to all.

Ashore - my knowledge bank of geography ended in 5th grade (U.S. Capitals quizzes, anyone? I would say i have probably 15 state capitals memorized today, 16 years later...)

So, props to Alan who gave great nudges and allowed me to come up with the solution myself!

Like many, I have an answer but feeling like there should be one more step… but I am going to submit and say I’m onshore. It’s good to have a reason to look forward to Monday!

I'm on a shore - but wondering if it's the right one. It's not on any map, and it's a hell of a lot closer to contented than it is to confident.

To reward his good nature, someone should keep Isaac company.

Ok, I'll do it. It was a tough swim just finishing the grid, and I still don't understand some of the answers.

Will turn to the meta over lunch. In the meantime...

Ahoy, Isaac!
For nudges, feel free to PM me. I won't have a clue how to help you, but you might shove me ashore.
