Ashore, as always enjoyable, more when you solve.

On a separate note. Anyone use an iPad to solve wsj crosswords having difficulty since format change recently? I can no longer see all of completed grid to take screenshot. Without screenshot all highlighting/ markup tools are no longer useful.

Appreciate any help you can offer.

Grid done with help from Mr G, as I had 10D on several crossing pairs. Now staring stupidly over coffee at Isaac's.
For nudges, feel free to PM me. I won't have a clue how to help you, but you might shove me ashore.

Ashore! A nice change of pace after last week's. Very straightforward. H will have Sip 'n Be Merry (aka Macaron aka Caramel Vanilla Cake) Tea, and J will have a chocolate milkshake!

I got to this late (I'm in Grenoble this week), and at first I could not see anything. I took a long, very cold walk along the Isère, came back, took a fresh look, and then suddenly there it was, so I went from being very cold to now basking in the figurative sun of the beach.

Ashore! I've been out of pocket for a few weeks (sounds like it wouldn't have mattered last week, ha ha). It was nice to come back to a fun solve.

just looked at this this morning - i thought the grid was unusually choppy, but the meta was a 53A. On shore and sticking to coffee, for now!

I am having the same issue. I took two screenshots, each of half of the solved puzzle, and old fashioned printed them out taped and them together.

REMINDER: Today is Muggle Zoom Friday at 4:30 eastern time, aka, our favorite time of the week! What could be a better way to spend time on a Friday afternoon other than virtually getting together with other muggles? The prediction is that today's group will be more intimate than last week's boisterous crowd, since so many have tronged the beach and are splashing about. But, it will be just as much fun!

All are welcome, whether you have solved or not. After all, zoom get togethers are a sign of the times! Click on the MUGGLE ZOOM ROOM tab at the top of the page to join. See you there!
Don & Cynthia

We are always happy to get to know other muggles and help in any way! PM's are always welcome. The next best thing to winning a mug is helping a fellow muggle win a mug!

Pleasant swim to shore without too many rip currents. Perhaps my mind is returning to pre-crisis levels? It is nice to see all my fiends on the beach.
NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges IF ASKED; metas should be about fun, not frustration. PM me what you have done so far, because often you are closer than you think, and I will try to help you move along.
