I haven't solved it yet so I don't know how "meta" it actually is, but the contest in the new Games World of Puzzles issue is crossword-based; it says if you solve it correctly you'll be left with an 8-letter word that is the contest answer.
Deadline is February 28; First prize is $100.
If you see it on your local newsstand ("Papa, what is a 'local newsstand?'") it's $5.99 and has "Colorbots" on the cover with a bunch of different-colored domino-looking things.
