I enjoyed the crossword. But don’t have solution yet. I have almost all the words for power ballads. No solution. I have all of yacht rock except for solution. I have nothing on the first puzzle.

This was very clever and puzzle-hunt quality, although Modern Rock was out of my league. Final answer could have also been "SOUL".
