Good morning Muggles!

It doesn’t seem possible that we’re coming to the end of our second full year of MMMs, or that next March will mark three years since Brian Mac published the first-ever MMM. I too am celebrating an anniversary of sorts, as today’s puzzle represents my “silver anniversary” meta, being the 25th MMM I’ve done.

This one is called “It’s Not You, It’s Me,” and I’m giving it a week 2-ish difficulty rating. Please submit your answer on Crosshare, or PM me your solution by 10 PM on Saturday, and as has become the custom, I’ll post a couple snapshots of a leaderboard during the week. Feel free to PM me for nudges, but try to stick with it for a couple days first. If nothing else, there’s always Nudge Wednesday.

One correct solver will be chosen at random and will receive an item of his/her choice from my swag bag (a Blarney Rebel Band CD, a Utica Club keepsake, or a $15 donation to a charity of your choice).

Well, I have a very clever rabbit hole non-solution.

EDIT: Oh, wait.... It WAS the way to the solution. (At least half-way).

Well, submitted an answer, so I guess we'll see if I'm off the couch or stuck in the cushions.

Edited to add: Welp, apparently not. I remain ensconced on the couch.

Off the couch. I got part way there and then it took a minute to make the link to get home.

Off the couch!

For me, this one had the “slap head, oh now I get it” effect, which is always fun.

Thanks, Al!

🛋. I was working on cryptics most of the day and just saw this. I had the first part pretty quickly but was stumped for a while till I remembered one thing and then it all made sense. I bet it was 🤣. Great job by Al as always

A couple of dead ends followed by a head slap and then.....I had on heck of a "there it is!"; logical, defendable, fitting EXCEPT that Crosshare said "No Cigar". I'll share (well you know me, no doubt over share) after the reveal. Thanks for some entertainment Al.
NUDGES!I am always willing to give nudges where needed; metas should be about fun, not frustration. Send me what you have done so far because often you are closer than you think!

off the couch with two respectable answers! (Only one worked on Crosshare, which I got by trial and error).

I’m not sure I understand 46 down clue… must be thick.

fun puzzle!

Well, I have one foot off the couch. Thought I saw where to put the other, but that turned out to be an empty rabbit hole. I suppose I could guess based on what I have found, but where’s the fun in that. May have to peek at the nudges tomorrow.
If you want help with a meta, feel free to PM me. The more specific you are about what you have and what you want, the more likely I can help without spoiling.

(And if I help you win a mug, I’ll be especially delighted.)

After getting part one yesterday, I finally figured out what I had to do. Good one Al! I also thought Ms. Norton was male for the longest time!
