Bruised state of has me earworming this & passing it along:

Darn this IKEA store is crowded now that everyone has left the couch! I had a tough time solving due to an error in my education/background. Once explained it was smooth sailing through another excellent MMM puzzle.

I, for one, don't see it yet. Eagerly awaiting the nudges!
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

I have to abstain -- got it mainly on the downs! Although afterwards it did kinda ring a bling bell.

Off the couch with the nudges, though I was on the right track before - just one letter off...

Same here. The nudges confirmed what I saw and helped me realize I had overlooked one *. Fun meta! Thanks!

Off the couch, but only with nudges, nudges and more nudges. Turns out, I was missing a really important thing (insert head slap emoji here).

I finally solved with the nudges, although they really didn't tell me anything that didn't already know or suspect.
One confusing part was that the 8 letters I had were 2 words but all the other examples are a single word. The other was it doesn't follow the theme of the puzzle. I should have focused on the instructions; had I done that, maybe I would have solved.

The site is just a web page, a meeting place, a clubhouse - it's the group that's special.

I didnt need the nudges, but some very remedial 'rithmetic (thank you @Wendy Walker )
Apparently I can't count that high on my own. No wonder my bridge partners yell at me.
Fun meta - well done!
