Remedial Chaos Theory (meta suite by Paolo Pasco)

#1

Post by ebirnholz »

For his 100th puzzle posted on Grids These Days, Paolo made a whole suite of interconnected metas. Six puzzles leading to a final really neat seventh puzzle.

https://gridsthesedays.blogspot.com/202 ... heory.html

I got a chance to solve the whole suite on Monday and it's great. It has a flavor of a Mystery Hunt about it which I'm guessing others in this forum might enjoy. A few of the metas are trickier than others, but the first one is gentle and there's another one that's intentionally and hilariously super-easy which made me laugh out loud.

Anyway, go check it out ASAP.

If a talented puzzlemaker creates a suite of puzzles called "Remedial Chaos Theory", is it possible to be living in the darkest timeline?

Evan, thanks for bringing this to the board's attention! This was a really clever construction.

This was an astounding collection of puzzles that just kept giving and giving! Meta aficionados simply must do this suite.
Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack" here. US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

Ditto, trying these. I have 3, now working on 2. Is there a place to submit? Or does that reveal itself when you solve the final puzzle and meta?

There's an answer page that appears when you click "I don't know" at the bottom of the sixth puzzle: here. You can enter answers as you go.
