How can a sweet, adorable cherub like that cause any problems for Matt?

SOLVED! Omg!
Edit: in helping a few other folks, they discovered one step I missed that would have raised my confidence in my answer from 90% to 100%. But my small hop of faith paid off anyway.

Now he knows what it feels like.
I never attempt a Week 4, but a 1 in 10 chance would be my best chance.
Also …is this the weirdest grid EVER?

Either the best or worst of both worlds - large clues I can read or a large grid I can fill in. Printed both

Beam me up!
Awaiting confirmation, but pretty sure. With a slight nudge.
Very cool!

I got it solo but I think I might have accidentally skipped some steps along the way...

I would zoom tonight about 8:30 pm if anyone wants… I have a few leads & would enjoy comparing notes!

Nudged to the beam-up spot. Very clever puzzle!
Edit: Oof, that was a looooong wait for a transporter beam. But it's nice to be confirmed!

Check out "The MOAT MEOW Mashup Pack"
here . US$10 for 14 metas that don't always abide by the "rules" of the game: asymmetry, 2-letter words, uncrossed letters, who knows. And this time there's a mega-meta!

I was nudged to the transporter beam on the muggle zoom call. Thanks, Aaron! And congrats again on the 1-Across achievement!
If you want help with a meta, feel free to PM me. The more specific you are about what you have and what you want, the more likely I can help without spoiling.
(And if I help you win a mug, I’ll be especially delighted.)

FINALLY - thanks to a solver (@AaronT ) and some fellow sleuths we finally figgered it out. Definitely a group-solve to report this week!

If any of the folks I've helped out in the past are welling to send a little get-me-going my way, I'd truly appreciate it.

I'd appreciate a nudge as well, if anyone's up for it. I have some ideas but nothing seems to be panning out.

I’m going to fully agree, but mostly because I have no idea how to even begin and I’m assuming the shape
has to be meta-related. If anyone has a very gentle initial nudge, I’d be very welcome

I feel very close to solving but am missing the last step. I would love to run what I have by someone who has solved. Thanks.
