Bahaha, I'm honored by the cameo.

Catching up on some puzzles - still working on the grid, and we'll see if I can elevate off of the davenport!

Nice Puzzle, Pete. Thanks.

Now back to staring into the rabbit hole that is Mikey's puzzle.
Sorry for the "capital" punishment.

its actually worse than that, using your logic... I dove right in and literally saw it, said that's interesting I should follow it up.....but it was early in the grid solving and I didn't write it so forgot about it until the nudge (facepalm)

MMM REVEAL

BackPocketReveal3 (1).png

As predicted, this was a tougher grid, due to extra constraints like the extra credit, and that pesky Z. Interesting that @benchen71 found the watches early but struggled with the American bays.

72 correct submissions. Winner #6 @BarbaraK

Congrats, BarbaraK!
I had trouble with 31A and thought maybe an ANE was the name of a Guess watch model. Even though Googling came up short, "watch" was still prominently in my brain, so lucky for me Omega, Fossil, and Apple jumped out. Zenith and Tudor were new to me, but speaking of puzzle constraints it must have been tricky finding watch brands that weren't too obvious. I mean, you couldn't exactly use Cartier or Breitling or Timex, now could you!
Good luck, fellow Muggles!

I thought that ornament looked cool, and now I won it?

Woo hoo!

Thanks, Peter!

Fun one! I looked at it for thirty minutes and was just staring at it. Stopped, went back, and was like, "Well, there's Tampa BAY, Montego BAY...ah, okay."

Congrats, @BarbaraK!

Best puzzle of the week - really enjoyed it and the aha moment/click. The title was a very nice touch, too.

Before the instructions were clarified, I thought we were to follow the pattern with a single entry for the extra credit... I found one in ETAL, as in EBAY (ha!) + TAL Watches

(...also had EZIO, with ZIO as a kind of Swatch watch, not really a brand tho)

Off the couch!

With extra credit!

Got to this one very late (we were traveling), after the reveal, but I didn’t look.

Good one!

I got the prize ornament in the mail today, and it’s as nice in real life as in the photo. Thanks, Peter @Abide !

Cool! Almost the same, but the ornament doesn’t have the baby:)
