Lots of fascinating ideas - some were rabbit holes, some turned into leads. An idea from one person triggered an idea in my head (which I hoped helped others too) that led me to the answer. Thanks to all of you - I will keep logging on as time permits whether I've solved or not.
what is the zoom link please and when do they hold it? thanks in advance

Took last week off and - after reviewing the solution - glad I did.

Thinking I should have stayed in the cabin this time also, but enjoy Shenk puzzles so much I couldn't resist the carrot.

Alas, after chasing one rabbit, I'm back in the fog.

Wait, I think I see a lighthouse! No just the bar. I'll hang there for a while.
Good luck to all for a successful solve. If you see that I'm ashore - rare occasion of late - message me if you'd like a nudge. Be sure to include your progress so I can know better how to assist.

I feel a certain comraderie with "Polish Patriots." My Polish great grandparents immigrated to Baltimore in 1890, were very patriotic and quite good at the Polka.

On shore. A slow start, fighting all the way to the solution: or in haiku:

Deliberation
Impenetrability
Clarification

Ashore. Waded around until I rode a wave and landed. Kind of a classic, kind of clever.

This unique rose is called "Love's Promise." It opens to reveal pink inner pedals and rasberry tinted outer pedals.

Haven’t got a clue,
Really don’t know what to do!
Must say… I am through!

I approve this haiku. It perfectly reflects my position statement.

15 minutes til Isaac’s Last Call zoom. All are welcome - those still working on it, already solved, or wanting to share rabbit holes and commiserate.
If you want help with a meta, feel free to PM me. The more specific you are about what you have and what you want, the more likely I can help without spoiling.

(And if I help you win a mug, I’ll be especially delighted.)
