This is just a silly diversion. But I wonder has anyone else ever tried to construct a crossword like this?
Funny story. I was all set to enter Par for the course for the CrossHare midi contest for April but I mistakenly thought midi meant 7x 7 and not 11 x 11. Oops. Well.... Here's a complex but **small** meta on the subject of golf.

Nice construction, @woozy. The 15x15 referenced in the Crosshare comments is very impressive.

I didn't know quite a few of the clue requests but somehow I managed to fill the grid except for two (identical :D ) letters.
