Printed this one off early, not waiting for my Saturday-mailed WSJ, and did far better on it than I ever will on the meta.

Yeah, my finishing words were the first ones in the puzzle. Fun one though!

I got cranking on the upper part with the last winding answer after placing the last across clue, then worked my way through with those two. Good puzzle by Mike. I'm always amazed at how he and Patrick Berry can create these interlocking word puzzles.
